Loved the ocean view!

I enjoyed my stay at Golden Sands Oceanfront. The amazing oceanfront views from my balcony amazed me. A bit of trouble with the unreliable Wi-Fi, but nothing could overshadow that fine view!

We had a wonderful time at Golden Sands Oceanfront Hotel! The oceanfront views from our balcony were breathtaking, and it was so nice to have a kitchenette to prepare some meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile. The kids loved the pools, and the beach access was super convenient!

The parking situation was a bit tricky at times.

The Tiki Bar was the highlight of our stay, where I could sip on cocktails that tasted like they were made by a beachside wizard while enjoying a stunning ocean view. Our room was as comfy as a cloud, with endless waves lulling us to sleep at night. Plus, the staff treated us like family, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

The stay was enjoyable despite some hiccups. The location was fantastic, just a stroll away from the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and other attractions like the Veggie Wagon. My family loved the bunk beds in our room, which made it perfect for the kids. I was a bit let down that some hotel amenities were not available during our stay, which affected the overall experience. The staff was friendly and did their best to assist us.

The indoor pool had a heavy chlorine scent that made it unpleasant, even for those just watching. I noticed small spots of sand on the floor upon entering my room, and the corners had dust accumulation that could use a good scrub. I found no coffee replenishment during my stay, which was a letdown for morning routines.

We faced some real hurdles during our stay. The pools, both indoor and outdoor, were unexpectedly closed, leaving us with no option for swimming. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was frustratingly unreliable throughout, making it a challenge to connect when needed. Minor maintenance issues popped up as well. our shower faucet was loose, and there were a few small rust spots visible around the bathroom fixtures. A lack of a toilet lid made organizing morning toiletries a bit tricky. While these might be small beans, they added up to a less-than-ideal experience.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach! I loved being able to relax on the balcony and watch the waves while my family enjoyed the pool. The onsite restaurant offered great meals, making it convenient to dine without having to go far. However, I was disappointed that the indoor pool was closed during our stay and there was no housekeeping unless requested, which felt a bit off given the price we paid.

Golden Sands offers an incredible beach location and superb views from my room. Though the ongoing renovations caused temporary distractions, the clean, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff contributed to my enjoyable stay. I’ll certainly return for more seaside adventures soon!
